I have searched for happiness for many years. I used to think that material things would make me happy. I would obtain an object of my desire believing that with said object in my possession, my life would change. After many cycles of that way of living, I finally realized how unfulfilled I was. In the past 7 years, I have taken a new path. That of self-inquiry. I realized what is the most important things in life were for me. I am family oriented, an explorer and need to be in a position to express love for others and be loved. I cannot limit my love to just one person, I give it to all who would receive it. For example, at the store through a smile and hello to the cashier, at the Secretary of State to the verbally battered person at the desk and, of course, to my family. I was married for 9 years. We realized we were not good for each other but remain good friends to this day. I am currently a student at U of M, College of Engineering. I have a degree in Math and Science and love to fix things and taking on new challenges of a technical nature. My interest in posting a profile on this site is based on finding a real sweetheart who knows what makes him truly happy or at least is in search of that state of being. I am down to earth, take care of myself emotionally and physically and looking for a heart to heart connection.

It is a combination of things. I could stay at home and cuddle on the couch in front of a TV or just talk about future, past and present stuff. I like going out to restaurants, dancing, the movies, long walks, sometimes shopping and many other things. I like spontaneity, especially when I am undecided and someone announces "hey, lets do this!" As I am writing this, I understand how diverse I really am. I could sky dive on Monday, fly to a different country on Tuesday, climb a mountain on Wednesday...you get the picture. I have not done any of those things mentioned but I would certainly be up for it!
