I'm an old fashioned guy in search of his lover, best friend and confidant. I'm the type who will open doors for you, pull your chair out for you, give you flowers with sappy cards, shower you with kisses, and tell you how beautiful you are every day. I can cook (gourmet, I might add), and I've been known to do household chores vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc. In my spare time, I love reading and creative writing. On and off for a year now, I've been working on a book about the ups and downs of my last 46 years on this earth. It's a refreshing look on an exiting life that gets better with each passing day. When I finish this book, I know I'll be a better man for it. In 2002 I retired from the US Army with 22 years service to my country. While in the Army, I got to see Germany, France, Italy, Spain, The Aezores and a little of England. The country I liked best, more than even the US was, Italy. When I left that country, It was like culture shock being back in the US. Italy is a place made for lovers, and although I was there while in the Army, and I never really got to know any women, it's the place that I want to go back to someday with my soulmate. To live the romance, walking hand in hand down the street, looking into each others' eyes and feeling the lust and fire that has escaped us in our past lives, and is now here with us, never to leave. When I'm with you, nothing else matters but us. I have a big heart and care deeply for the down-trodden and I will always support the "little man".
