I am a well educated divorced mother of 2. I am classy yet down to earth and able to laugh at myself and any situation. I can comfortably fit into most situations and settings whether it be a formal blacktie party or a country barbecue. I try to make others feel at ease.
I am athletic and work out 4-5 times per week. We only get one body to carry us through life. It is important to take excellant care of ourselves so we can enjoy life to the fullest.
I am accomplished in my career and get a lot of satisfaction from my job. I find it to be intellectually challenging and it fulfills my craving for knowledge and learning. However family is always my first priority and I am very loyal to my family and friends.
I believe life is about the simple pleasures every day has to offer. I enjoy a cup of green tea in the morning while watching the sun rise or a glass of wine while watching the moon light sparkle on lake waters. These times are even more special when shared with the right person. Let me pour your favorite drink and share a relaxing moment together.
Love between a man and a woman is a rare event. And when I fall in love I give that one man my all. I am a hopeless romantic and enjoy doing nice things for that special someone on a daily basis. I'll meet you at the door everyday with a smile and a kiss(and more if the kids aren't around). If you need someone to listen to the challenges of the day, I will listen. If you would like to discuss the complexities of Middle Eastern politics or the challenges of developing new cures for illnesses, I will delight in the intellectual discourse. If you need to put the challenges away and lighten your day, lets talk about the happier things and laugh until our sides hurt. Dinner at a quiet resturant where we can talk and get to know each other better. Afterwards a show or live music. Perhaps a late night desert with coffee because we just don't want the date to end, but modesty dictates....The date ends with laughter, a gentle kiss, and the yearning to see each other again as soon as possible

Scuba diving. I have been a swimmer, swimming instructor, likeguard, and lifeguard training instructor. I love the water and swim a few times/week. Scuba diving has always been on the "to do" list.

My idea of fun is very diverse. When it's just me I enjoy staying in and going out. If I'm staying in, I like to relax with a good book and a cup of tea. I also like to take long swims and go for long walks in the woods (especially during Autumn when the leaves are falling).
When together with others I love going out to dinner and enjoy live music, theatre, movies, and sporting events. (Perhaps it would be faster to describe what I don't like.) I guess it's easier to simply say I enjoy laughter and being around the people I love and care about most. We can have fun doing almost anything with the right people and the right attitude.
