The quote is from Virginia Woolf. In this particular moment, she is my favorite author. However, this is subject to change as the stack of books that usually surround me continues to grow! I love literature, writing, art, history, conversation, and the inate humanity that peeks out from behind the modern mask. People facinate me~ sometimes wonderously; sometimes horridly; but, they always facinate me! I enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds- listening to their stories and adding to my ever-growing list human commonalities. Okay, so this all sounds rather esoteric and maybe it is. But, I am sitting at a computer grappleing with how to identify myself to you (this sort of universal whoever you are you) in a way that is both honest and engaging. Ultimatly- ridiculous : )

So, I am.. in a nutshell-
An overeducated, life-embracing, romantic, pragmatic, analytical, silly-sarcastic, non-judgemental, compassionate, passionate, let your hair down - drink a glass of wine- read a book- dance with my heels off sort of woman!

I hate housework, but hate a messy house more. Horror movies scare me- really. I don't like roller costers but love ferris wheels. I get nervous when I fly, but I absolutely LOVE going overseas (back to London in a few months). More? If you are still reading through this mess... I have three children- all boys- all amazing in different ways. I have an outstanding career in higher education that allows me to justify my book addiction. If I write anymore it will begin to feel like confession!
