I'm a retired military enlisted man who has traveled all over the world. I was in during Viet Nam and was in the Desert Shield/Storm Gulf War. I have been married twice, first time for 9 years and the second time for over 23 years. I have 4 children who I love very much and am close to as well as 4 grandchildren. I am a down to earth, no pretense individual. I left my dreams long ago to provide a home for my family. Since my divorce, I have acquired my BFA degree from Wayne State and am pursuing the work I have always wanted to do, black and white photography and art work. I do have a job as a Fiscal Officer for the Health Department, but it is not what I hope to continue doing. I am an artisit in not only many medias, but find I also have the ability to write. I write poetry, short stories and am working on a book presently. I also play the guitar and write songs. Along with some relatives, I am working on a musical. If that is not enough, I am working on preparing for a one man show by next Spring of my photography and art work. I am a true gentleman, a conversationalist and intelligent enough to fit into almost any crowd. I'm not prejudice or judgemental, but believe in conservatism and have moral values. I'm not a smoker, drinker or into drugs of any kind. I'm a Christian, but not so religious that I don't allow myself to view the world with an artistic eye and a productive open mind. I love with all my heart when I fall for someone and am faithful. In other words, I am a one woman man when I finally make a committment. Both of my X wives will attest to that. So why am I divorced? I was a work-aholic and was gone more than at home. I have learned since then and am now doing things that keep me at home, plus exploit my artistic talents as I had always wanted to do, but never had the time before. No, I am not a millioniare and maybe I never will be, but I am a very happy man with a positive attitude that makes me wealthy with lots of friends, family and love for all mankind. I don't need a lot of money to be satisfied, just the love of a woman who has faith in my abilities to make her happy all the days of her life. A woman who will be there for me when I produce my art work and who believes in sharing the growth of what is accomplished together. I'm a romantic in that I believe the successful man is due to that of a good woman who shares his experiences with him. I know I can do it alone, but why if there is someone interested enough in sharing a dream. So, where are you, Dream girl?

Dinner and a drink at a nice place that has the food choices that the other person enjoys. Keep it causual so there is no pretenses, but a chance to talk, laugh and get to know one another for who each of you are. Depending on time and opportunity, go to a place special for listening to music and possibly dancing. Learn to appreciate each other for what you find out, but don't be pushy. Anything worth having is worth waiting for. Be honest from the start so you don't have to try and remember the lies that you told. Always hate it when the story changes the next date if there is one. Leave it as friends. A kiss would be good, but don't overdo it. If really interested, then let it show. Be a gentlemen and allow the woman to be a lady.

There is nothing I have not tried that I wanted to except for my one man art show. I am working on that now and will be doing that by next Spring. I guess that makes me a well rounded individual.

To be a recognized artist for the work that I do. Never had a chance while raising families, so now I do have that opportunity and am pursuing it with gusto. Even if I don't make it, at least I will have had my shot at something I have always wanted to do. Success is not in how much money you make, but in life's satisfactions. There are things I regret in my life, but all in all, I have had satisfying life up to now and don't see any reason for it to change in the future no matter what. I want to finish all that I have started, my book, my musical and my art work show. These are my goals. If I can find someone to share them with along the way, then it would be an added plus to reaching those goals.

Nice figure, but doesn't have to be perfect if there is personality. Willingness to model nude for me for a painting or photo session. Not purdish, but sensitive enough to enjoy one another even in the light. A big heart that is capable of loving all mankind, especially family. No greediness. A willingness to give of one's self to find pure unadulterated love and not feel ashamed.
