Drove/moved cross-country eight times by myself. I stay close to home now; appreciate nature. I follow current events and enjoy stimulating conversation. I love animals, and if they like you, I do, too. Jazz, blues, and old school define my soul. I like to wake n bake with my coffee and enjoy the quietness early in the morning. Chirping birds fill the air, and it’s a good time for prayer and devotions. On the home front, I don’t cook anymore, but everybody likes to go out to dinner. The convenience alone is worth it. My personal library consists of Black history and literature, including classics by Toni Morrison, Nora Zeal Hurston, James Baldwin, and many more. The man I have in mind uses common sense to solve problems, he thinks before speaking, and he likes to help people. He should love children, too. God should be his daily guide and inspiration. My perfect match would be over 6’ tall, dark- complected, not too much facial hair, nice dresser, have manners, and be 60-74 years young. At the same time, his level of maturity should include knowledge of the uniqueness of the female mind and physiology. Understanding the personality of each other is necessary to build a united front in setting goals for the future. |
